The first act of Sandopolis is fine, the general desert aesthetic doesn’t ruin anything, but the common complaint of the second act is that it’s overly long with a dull aesthetic and non-threatening ghost gimmick. The unfortunate combination of tedious length and darkness. There are slow-moving block sections, areas where it’s impossible to go fast, and these problems will have you wishing for the ability to spin dash. Anyway, there’s a blue, anthropomorphic hedgehog called Sonic who likes to run through loop-de-loops and collect rings that someone just left lying around. Time for a weird list, but a good idea nonetheless, in my own mind anyway, and that’s important.
